Some students still need to finish their Tessellation colouring, remember that I will be conferencing with students to make sure everyone can describe rotations, reflections and translations (turns, flips, and slides).
I am very excited to be teaching grade six Math and Science! I have a passion for math and science that developed through my love of sports. As I became more and more serious about my hockey and lacrosse careers, I started to be interested in improving my performance; I soon found that there is a LOT of math and science involved in sports! I decided to base my university education on exercise science, and I graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in Physical and Health Education, and a whole bunch of math and science knowledge! Sports also led me to develop my passion for teaching: I've spent many hours volunteering for hockey and lacrosse teams, and my summer job throughout university was at a hockey school. I hope some of my enthusiam for math and science will "rub off" on the students!
