I apologize that there haven't been many posts recently, this is mostly because there hasn't been a great deal of homework.
In science, 6B5 and 6B8 are working very hard to complete their experiments and get their displays ready for the B5/B8 Science Fair, which will take place February 4. Some students are beginning to fall behind, and have yet to complete their actual tests. They will be encouraged to stay in at lunch tomorrow to complete this integral aspect of the experiment. Again, most work should be completed at school, with the exception of the tests, which can be completed at home (and results gathered) due to the urgent nature of the project.
In math, much of what we have been learning requires the use of materials that are only available at school, therefore, there has been little homework assigned.
Next week, we will hopefully begin Patterning, which will be another relatively quick unit, followed by Number Sense and Numeration (multiplying and dividing whole numbers, and adding and subtracting decimals); which will lend itself to more at home practice.
